According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden cult.
The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
